Garrett Krumpe is a videographer, photographer, producer and writer from Virginia.
Growing up in Northern Virginia I found my calling at the early age of 9 years old when I picked up my dads old Sony Camcorder and began filming my friends and I skateboarding. I quickly learned I had a passion for film and decided to try my hand at editing our content into skate videos.
That passion evolved into creating videos every summer with my neighborhood friends. Every school project was a video, and later in life I remembered my long lost calling of being a filmmaker and went back to my roots.
Over the past few years I’ve been honing my craft through various gigs and projects, working on my own videos and on set of a feature film, and working for various production companies.
While becoming a better film maker I started snapping pictures and teaching myself photography, discovering I have an aptitude for that as well. I added it to my repertoire and its become one of my favorite past times.
Today, writing has become one of if not my main focus. My greatest goal is to one day soon write and direct my own films. I’ve been working on multiple projects and have pitched them to great success. I look forward to bringing each one to life in the near future.
